Simple Home Cooking~~

A colleague bought some nice Tortelloni from Frankfurt. So while parent went out for dinner, I cooked myself a simple dish. Very simple indeed, cos I only use tomato base sauce and then added some white mushrooms...I thought the pack is not that much, but after i cooked the whole packet, started eating felt ok, ate half of it...started to get a bit full.. well, since i'm not the type who waste food..so i finish them all...it was ok at the end...would be lovely if come with a glass of wine...uhmm...yummy...

Spicy dinner~~~

For my colleague's b'day dinner, we went to a 四川 restaurant. Yes, most dishes are spicy but the birthday girl doesn't eat spicy at all...strange y we went to this place right??...
Anyway, it was a good chance to practice eating spicy food cos coming Tibet trip will most likely be eating similar food and might be worst too....damn i'm freaking out already cos their style of cooking is all about add more oil more oil, more salt more salt, more spicy more spicy...u know what i mean??...basically u can't taste anything cos it is all damn strong taste... =_=
After the meal, even you brush teeth and drink water, your mouth can still taste spicy flavour...gosh...
Don't ask me the name of the dishes, cos i dun even know....haha...

Top quality dinner~~

My friend will open another japanese restaurant soon and so he asked me to help him to take photos for his new menu. It was a night that I'll never have this much of japanese food at one go...
The photo shoot took me the whole evening, because there were so many dishes to photo, one by one each look yummy as they were brought out...The effort was worth it as the dinner was so damn full and wonderfully taste fresh and yummy...
Had the chance to taste new sushimi and also raw beef from japan....feel soooo good!!!!

Cooking @ Home

This time, very first time that I cooked dinner for my friends. Planned ahead to cook 3 dishes...soup, salad and a pasta. The meal come with a nice red wine...fine taste...
The whole cooking process went well....had fun and enjoyed every bit...my lovely friend helped me prepare the salad and cooked a "jah jah" dessert!~!~...Let's skip the rest and go to the tasting part....hmm...well...the salad was good, the wine taste nice....the bread with cheese yummy...but my cooking was...not awful, but I think I could have done better....The soup got the beef taste, tomato taste, but it would be best with a bit more salt and also the beef turned out too tough!! >_<
Then the pasta...hmm....not enough sauce was the major problem, then the chicken breast damn tough too...garrr~!~!~ Ah well, I really appreciate my lovely friend to tolerate my cooking, she even said all went well just the chicken too tough...I promise I will improve and cook different dishes next time....

Went to Bangkok with the whole family...yes....WHOLE as in all members...quite amazing as it is a first time and the best thing is, I don't need to pay for it...haha...
Well, the reason I like thailand so much is because the expense there can be really cheap, but yet can find fine quality of goods and services....The food are lovely, people quite nice...only the traffic jam that made people mad!!
There are many new shopping malls in BKK now, and I mean big malls. It is so big that you get tire just to walk one floor.... -_-"
This trip was a relaxing trip, just eat, swim and walk around lightly...bought some house wear from the market...nice...took some snap shots, not great quality but enough to keep as record....
Recently been learning the techique of HDR image (High Dynamic Range)...very interesting indeed and even can use a single image to create it...pretty cool as it looks like a painting. Below is a test image, will have plenty of trial soon as my Tibet trip is getting closer, so I need to plan what and how to manage my shots....

Without looking back to my previous post, I've no idea how long it has been that I updated the blog~~~ Damn long....not because I've given up, I should say I'm busy as an excuse....Have been busy moving into my new home and then looking around to decorate a little bit, but so far haven't yet bought really good stuff, just some cook wear stuff and actually cooked once since my parent was away...I really do think I should cook more cos I love cooking and I do cook eatable meal.....haha...

I got to move all my stuff to my new home asap else my parent will continue to do things that i don't like...and then I'll continue my life alone...i got to do more work for real.... stop being a slack ass Gary~~!~

I enjoyed this yrs birthday....y? well..cos i have friends and colleagues celebrating with me....i know this is quite usual, u won't think how important this is cos u might usually have them around you....but when one day u don't have anyone around...u won't imagine how u could feel.....so I treasure whenever i can, have a good time....

Summer just arrived!~!~

Yesterday went to a photo function, taking photos of a model...the model is only 17, a good age to start, but maybe she's still quite new, so poses aren't easy to come and often repeats even when the location have changed....anyway, she have time to learn after more shoots and i'm sure I will photo her again...

It was so humid, sweat like hell for me...i don't enjoy shooting in summer really...cos i sweat a lot and feel shit all the whole day....but we had fun cos 3 other friends photo together and muck around and talking trash...that's why we joined...to have fun...and seriously, the organizer wasn't very good at arranging locations....walls, doors, stairs, back to walls, doors, stairs....shit....u know what i mean?....the whole day i took more than 200 photos and i could only select 15 to use....anyway that should be enough for me to arrange something presentable...

busy month in april, a few photo shoots and many hours of post work......

Lost Ring~~

Yesterday, was at a wedding shoot..well another tiring day as usual...but something unusual has happened....the bride lost her wedding ring...perhaps it happened when she threw the flower to her girls.....and as you know there are always many vistors and people around the Marriage Registry....very likely that someone would have picked up or maybe kicked away and disappear....the bridesmaid, groomsmen, my dv partner and I spent around an hour looking around, but it was no luck and so I left early back to the reception to prepare photo shoot.....hmm....at the end the Groom said the ring was found.....i'm not sure about that.... ;P
Being a wedding photographer, I get to see everybody happy, everybody laughs.....everybody got their facial expression, their personality....little girls and boys having fun, they don't need to care what others are doing....it is just like their playground....and I enjoyed being there eventhough i'm only doing my job...but i also had a wonderful time....

New PHOTO4DREAM website opens~!~!~

All the hard works, all the late nights, the new site finally is done! Well, at least it is 90% done as the Make up section is still in preparation. But the rest is in shape and enough for promote. Hopefully, my photography career can go along smoothly. I've got many things planned ahead. Gonna do some creative photo shoot and design on products and portraits. Works which might involve cost, but hope someone would appreciate my works....

Ok, please give me comments on the new site design and useability. The way to improve is from users feedbacks....

Medium rare or half cooked~~~

Prepare the champagne, get some nice food and ready to celebrate. As the process of revamping my website is going well...it is half done..pretty much the hard part is ready, which is the coding...once they are set, i'll just need to get all my albums refreshed...
The whole week basically was spent working hard on this, every free time i got i used it on this....what a start of the dog year and since have been doing much the week, tomorrow will party hard at my buddie's home and eat big time seafood hot pot and then drink like hell till I drop....
Oh yeah! I feel good~~~

No more SLACKS~~~

I'm on a roll man...last few days totally have edited 50+ photos, both the Perth trip and the Nagoya trip from last Nov. Damn no more slacks for me in 2006...i'm gotta work hard and hoping to find more opportunities...no easy way but just continue to look at the camera viewfinder and the LCD monitor...

First trip of 2006~~

Well, celebrating new year on the plane was actually dead boring...or maybe just becos the ppl around me weren't party heads so no fun at all...the only good thing was that i had the chance to see new year sunlight from damn high above the ground...best view ever to see sunrise.



I did had a good time this time back to Perth, met all the relatives and friends, had nice food, nice dining...chinese, western, italian...yummy~~~..ate lots of ice-cream too...gelare, gelato and more gelato...but didn't eat cakes...damn >_<
Went Swan valley, wine tasting big time, had lunch at a place called Black Swan, lovely view, wasn't the best weather though, the only day which had rain clouds...didn't break up the fun though...Oh yea, went to a citrus farm too, pretty cool went picking oranges, but I didn't pick any as there weren't many nice ones left, anyway more wine tasting afterwards and bought 2 bottles of Sharaz...uhmm..tasty~~~

Ok, Linda getting married end of 2006..good job Ron, your proposed was hell good stuff..wish both of you all the best before and after the wedding, you know pressure is on...
Wanda bought a new home...nice home, nice dogs...be good Wanda and stop "release aeroplane"...enuff said...

One thing that I gained from my trip was to see a high school mate that we've lost contact for more than 8 years. Danny boy looked fine and just like any of us..did not change much at all...Glad to hear he is well and working at a mechanic which is something he enjoying. Also heard that other high school mates all fine and doing well...i'm probably the worst one....poor dude bored in hk...
I miss Perth's beaches, sunshine and weather..although the last 2 days was at 37c O_O, but it was beautiful days....couldn't get the chance to photo the magic moment though, like it was dinner time while the sunset you know...
Anyway, I'll be at Linda's wedding end of this year, hope I'll be in Perth by then...
